Watch: Pedestrian narrowly avoids T-bone crash in Minneapolis

A traffic camera captured the moment two vehicles collided in a Minneapolis intersection, with one of the cars almost hitting a pedestrian Tuesday night.

Minneapolis Police Sgt. Garrett Parten tells Bring Me The News the crash happened at 10th Avenue SE and University Avenue SE at around 10 p.m.

Traffic camera video obtained by safetyvid.org shows a car driving through a red light and getting T-boned by a driver on a green light.

A pedestrian that was walking on the sidewalk at the time then is seen narrowly dodging one of the vehicles that went off the road and smashed into a tree.

Parten said one of the drivers was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and the other driver wasn’t injured. The pedestrian was also unharmed.
