Parents arrested in St. Paul after infant dies on Christmas

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) – Two people have been arrested after their infant child died on Christmas Day in St. Paul – a death police suspect was caused by drugs. What we know: Officers responded around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday to the report of a one-year-old child who was found unresponsive on 5th Street East near Earl Street in the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood. St. Paul Fire medics transported the child to Regions Hospital, where the child was later pronounced dead.
