Dirty soda, a Utah soft drink staple that’s booming in popularity nationwide since the premiere of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives , has arrived in Minnesota.

Sota in Maple Grove, which opened earlier this month, bills itself as Minnesota’s first business dedicated to dirty soda.
“We kept going back to Utah where we have family and we said , ‘hey this is bringing a lot of smiles to a lot of people’s faces, somebody gonna do that here, right?'” Sota owner Chad Taylor said in a video he posted on Instagram. “And finally, my wife said, ‘I think you’re going to do it’.”
The family-run venture, which started as a beverage truck, found itself in the midst of dirty soda’s viral moment , which began with the premiere of Mormon Wives .
