The St. Paul Police Department said officers responded to the shooting on the 300 block of Larpenteur Avenue around 7 a.m. and found two men with gunshot wounds.

The men were taken to Regions Hospital, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested a 23-year-old gas station employee in connection with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by an ineligible person.
