Grab a coffee and get ready for cuddles from some adorable cats! In Minnesota, we have some adorable cat cafes that you absolutely have to check out if you’re a cat lover.
I’ve been to one of our cat cafes before and it was a blast! It’s also a great way to get cats adopted. Yes, all of the cats in the cat cafes are available for adoption through a local shelter if you’re looking to add a furry friend to your family.
A quick note for anyone who has allergies, the cat area of the cat cafes is separate from the main cafe area. So if you’re allergic but still want to support the cats and the cafe’s mission, you can stop in for a coffee.
Cat Cafes in Minnesota
Minnesota is now home to three cat cafes. The first two are two locations of The Cafe Meow. One is in Roseville and the other is in New Hope. I went to The Cafe Meow when they were in Minneapolis before they moved to Roseville.
The Cafe Meow has up to 30 adoptable cats in each of their cat lounges all from local shelters. To go into the cat lounge area you need to book a specific time slot.
To get in, it’ll cost $10.50 per person on the weekdays and $15 per person on the weekends. This charge covers the costs of the cats’ care while they’re at The Cafe Meow…
