Minnesota – Freezing drizzle and snow are expected today across the Twin Cities area, creating slick conditions for drivers and pedestrians. Temperatures will climb to a high of 27 degrees this afternoon before snow and light freezing rain move in after 2 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), areas of light snow will begin this evening, with accumulations of up to an inch possible. Freezing drizzle could lead to icy conditions, particularly on untreated roadways, including stretches of I-35 and local highways. Drivers are urged to slow down, use caution, and allow extra travel time.
