FRIDLEY, Minn. (FOX 9) – Law enforcement say a 10-year-old girl is a person of interest related to a number of threats that caused the Fridley Public School District to cancel classes earlier this week.
10-year-old person of interest
Police say the person of interest, a 10-year-old girl, was identified on Jan. 17.
Law enforcement officials are now working with the Anoka County Attorney’s Office to pursue charges against the girl and a 13-year-old boy who was already arrested after the threats were made, according to a news release from Fridley Public Safety.
The police department said it is working with the school district to ensure a safe return for students on Jan. 21.
