If the 2024 NFL season ends up being the end of Sam Darnold’s short stay in Minnesota, Vikings fans want their quarterback to know that they’re thankful for the ride.
In his first Instagram post since the season ended on Wild-Card Weekend, Darnold shared a note to his coaches, teammates and the fans that gives off farewell vibes. Despite a fantastic season that saw him earn his first career Pro Bowl nod , the Vikings have No. 10 overall draft pick J.J. McCarthy waiting in the wings, and their early (and ugly) playoff exit should make it easier for team brass to make the switch to the young star in 2025.
