Twin Cities Film Fest announces ‘micro’ fest for Black History month

The Twin Cities Film Fest has announced plans to host the MNmicro Film Festival: Black History in celebration of Black History Month.

The one-day fest, scheduled for Feb. 4, will feature five free film screenings at Marcus West End Cinema in St. Louis Park .

The event, which will spotlight “empowering stories of Black lives, by local filmmakers,” will be hosted by Minnesota-based actress and filmmaker Charla Marie Bailey.

Throughout the day, there will be red carpet interviews, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, and a Black History celebration mixer from 4–8:30 p.m. at the Twin Cities Film Fest office, which is just steps from the theater in the Shops at West End…
