Minnesota’s only Staples location closing in March

MINNETONKA, Minn. — The only Staples in Minnesota is closing its doors this March as a new tenant prepares to take over the space.

The office supply company announced it was going private in 2017, selling for a fraction of what they were worth years earlier. CNN reported at the time hundreds of stores had closed amid shrinking sales.

The Staples in Minntonka’s WestRidge Market is set to close on March 14, signs posted on its windows state. The company assures customers they can continue to find Staples products online…
