February has certainly reminded Minnesotans and Wisconsinites of what winter is all about. We’re not even a week into the month, and already, areas of each state have experienced notable snowfall and bitterly cold temperatures.
As the middle of this week approaches, it appears that the snow will return and create difficult travel conditions. This isn’t a shock, as the National Weather Service had been predicting ‘widespread snow’ at this time but wasn’t sure of the exact locations or expected accumulations.
Now, it appears we have more clarity, as a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for 14 Minnesota counties, as well as 2 counties in Wisconsin.
