MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis-based Target Corp. is facing another lawsuit alleging that the company misclassified some employees and failed to pay overtime wages.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Monday, is led by four assistant store managers, employees known as Executive Team Leaders (ETLs). The complaint alleges the company violated federal and state labor laws, including the Minnesota Fair Labor Standards Act.
The court document says the plaintiffs, including Marijke Myland of Minneapolis, worked as ETLs for the company but spent most of their time performing non-managerial tasks while on the job, and were therefore improperly classified as exempt employees and should be entitled to overtime pay…
