Quaker Oats Company has issued a recall for 10,000 boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix due to undeclared milk, which poses a risk for those with milk allergies. The Chicago-based company, a division of PepsiCo, announced the recall on Friday (February 14) after a retail partner alerted them to the issue. The affected two-pound boxes were distributed to stores in 11 states, including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin. The boxes have a UPC code of 30000 65040 and a best-by date of September 13, 2025.
Consumers could have purchased the mix as early as November 2024. Although no allergic reactions have been reported, individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities are advised to discard the product immediately.
