After lots and lots of preparation, a Minnesota man has officially broken a Guinness World Record ! Actually, Guinness World Records says he ‘obliterated’ it.

Some world records are a bit goofy, like how long you can bounce a tennis ball with your mouth (yes, that’s real). This one is a little goofy but also takes some serious skill and lots of running, so I have to give credit where credit is due.
Minnesota Man Breaks World Record
The record breaker’s name is Jonathan. In order to prepare for this world record attempt, he said he would “‘run one fast-paced mile every day for the entire summer leading up to the attempt’”. He also studied different strategies to give it his best attempt.

It’s something a lot of people, including Jonathan, just do leisurely. He broke the record for the fastest 18-hole round of disc golf in the world by an individual.

He broke the record at a disc golf course in Fridley. The craziest thing is that the course only has 9 holes. So when he finished one 9-hole round, Jonathan had to make a mad dash back to the beginning to start over again to make it 18 holes total…
