Animals still inside Roseville SeaQuest after location permanently closes

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — A popular Twin Cities animal attraction shut its doors for good. The SeaQuest location in the Rosedale Center mall in Roseville has closed after nearly six years in business. A sign on the entrance says the location is “permanently closed.”

While the location is now shut down, KARE 11 saw fish still in aquariums inside the Rosedale location Monday morning. SeaQuest did not respond to multiple emailed requests for comments about those animals, how they would be handled, or what happens next.

The Animal Humane Society told KARE 11 they have been in contact with SeaQuest officials after receiving multiple complaints about the Roseville location. AHS said SeaQuest reported to them that they have animal care workers scheduled to work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for the next four weeks…
