Brooklyn Park police had to temporarily close part of County Road 81 Tuesday to arrest a man who had threatened to shoot people, police said.
Police arrested the suspect in the middle of County Road 81 near Brooklyn Boulevard shortly after 11 a.m. Northbound 81 had to be briefly closed as a large police presence enveloped the area.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers were initially dispatched to Luther Brookdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located at 8188 Brooklyn Blvd., for a customer that had returned to the business after making threats to shoot people there a few days earlier…
