A $10,000 reward has been offered in exchange for information that leads to an animal cruelty conviction after a dog was found left to die in Newport, Minnesota.
Companion Animal Control said in a Facebook post the dog was found “by the refinery, wrapped in a blanket inside a blue bin.” It noted the dog was “emaciated and lifeless,’ and the agency believes the dog “suffered a cruel existence.”
“This is not an isolated case. Already this year, we’ve seen multiple instances of dogs starving, neglected, and discarded like trash,” the rescue service said…
