We’re one day closer to a midweek storm and weather officials say “confidence is increasing” that plowable snow is on its way to Minnesota.
In its latest forecast discussion, the National Weather Service says “an abnormally strong surface cyclone will bring rain, accumulating snow, and gusty winds” to Minnesota and Wisconsin starting Tuesday afternoon and continuing into Wednesday.
Rain will arrive first, landing in the Twin Cities for the Tuesday evening commute, but it will transition to snow through the evening as colder air arrives…
