Three Minnesota natives are presumed to have been killed near Girdwood Alaska in a half mile long deadly avalanche while on a heli-skiing trip. The three men were identified on Thursday morning as Jeremy Leif, 38 of Minneapolis, Charles Eppard, 39 originally of Minnesota, but lived in Montana and David Linder, 39 originally of Minnesota but resided in Florida. David Linder was the co-owner of Radio Mankato and many other stations throughout Minnesota. The name Linder may sound familiar as he comes from a long family tree of radio station owners in the area. This includes our very own station as Harry Linder and sons brought KLGR radio to Redwood Falls nearly 71 years ago in 1954 as well as radio stations in Marshall and Montevideo. Witnesses at the scene of the avalanche…..
