Patience Wleh, a 45-year-old Brooklyn Park woman, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly assaulting her sister on Feb. 12 in her sister’s Elk River home. Wleh had been reportedly living at her sister’s for the last few months.
Elk River Police responded to a verbal domestic call in the 18000 block of Fillmore Street at about 2 a.m. that morning. Dispatchers reported the aunt of the caller involved in the dispute was now threatening to kill the caller’s mother.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the caller outside the house and heard screams from within the residence before entering. Two people were found inside one of the bedrooms, both covered in blood, according to the criminal complaint…
