A mega storm that is sweeping across the country could bring the first severe storms of 2025 to Minnesota on Friday, followed by snow accumulations in parts of the state over the weekend.
It’s all part of a powerful low pressure system that is threatening to produce tornado outbreaks Friday and Saturday. The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center has already put parts of the country in a level four of five moderate risk for severe storms on both days.
