The Minnesota Court of Appeals turned down Terry Brown Jr.’s request to overturn his 2023 murder conviction for the shooting death of a woman at St. Paul’s Truck Park Bar in 2021.
The court’s decision, which was filed Monday, rejected Brown’s argument that he acted in self-defense and that the court failed to disprove that claim, in addition to allegations of prosecutor misconduct, prejudice by the district court’s reversal on the duty to retreat, and errors in jury instructions and trial proceedings, which he said deprived him of a fair trial…
