Saint Paul First Responders Rescue Dogs from Rollover Accident at Concordia and Asbury

In Saint Paul, Minnesota, first responders showcased their dedication to community safety, extending their care to four-legged members following a vehicle rollover incident. The event unfolded at the intersection of Concordia Avenue and Asbury Street, where a driver experienced a rollover accident. According to a social media post from the Saint Paul Police Department, the driver escaped serious injury in the accident that took place.

The Saint Paul Police and Fire Department personnel were fast to acknowledge not just the human victim but also the pets involved. “When we say we care about everyone’s safety in our community, we mean it – and that includes the safety of animals, too,” they mentioned in their statement. Inside the overturned vehicle, two dogs were found trapped, inciting a swift rescue operation by the responders on the scene. Quick to act, firefighters from the Saint Paul Fire heavy rescue crew managed to carefully cut out the vehicle’s windshield to access the petrified animals.

Once rescued, the dogs were transported by police officers to the Saint Paul Animal Control facility.
