MINNEAPOLIS — A busy stretch of Interstate 94 in Minneapolis is back open Monday after being closed for about three hours while police investigated a shooting that left a man fighting for his life.
Minneapolis police spokesperson Sgt. Garrett Parten says squads were dispatched to assist the Minnesota State Patrol after reports of a shooting just after midnight. Responding officers found a man inside a vehicle under the West Broadway Bridge suffering from potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Hennepin Healthcare for treatment.
A woman in the vehicle was not injured…
