Chicken chain with food so spicy it requires a waiver opens in Edina

The Nashville hot chicken chain Hangry Joe’s is opening in Edina on April 5, per MSP Magazine .

It’s the chain’s second Minnesota location after it opened in Inver Grove Heights last summer. The new outpost is dubbed Hangry Joe’s To Go, with a smaller footprint than dine-in locations.

The rapidly expanding chain has dozens of locations around the U.S., as well as restaurants in Dubai, South Korea, and Japan. Additionally, just this week, it opened in Fargo .

Hangry Joe’s has made a name for itself with Korean-inspired hot chicken with honey sauces and variations with intense heat. Its “Angry Hot” spice level requires a signed waiver before it can be ordered…
