MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Fire Department is investigating after putting out multiple fires at a three-story building in Cedar Riverside on Friday morning.
According to Minneapolis Fire on X, crews responded to the building on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue South around 3 a.m. The structure has residential apartments on the top floors, and firefighters extinguished flames in the stairwell and at two of the doors.
Fire officials say one person was suffering from an apparent overdose which appears unrelated to the fires, and that person was evaluated by paramedics at the scene. No other injuries were reported, according to the post on X…
