If you’re headed out, you need to be aware of a very dangerous plant that is found all around Minnesota. Every part of the plant – roots, stems, leaves, and seeds – is extremely dangerous to humans and animals.
The Minnesota DNR says poison hemlock is a plant that contains a toxin that “impacts the nervous system, causing trembling, salivation, lack of coordination, dilated pupils, weak pulse, respiratory paralysis, coma and death.” That sounds awful. Check out what it looks like below.
