MINNEAPOLIS — A 19-year-old Minneapolis man pleaded guilty to numerous counts of attempted murder for his role in a mass shooting that injured nine people outside a south Minneapolis grocery store in August 2023.
Jaden Butcher was initially charged with nine counts of attempted murder, but as part of the plea, three of those charges, as well as a charge for fleeing a peace officer, will be dismissed. The state will also dismiss an assault charge in a separate case.
