Murder charges have been filed in connection to the April 19 killing outside a Minneapolis apartment building, and authorities say it was a targeted “hit” during a drug deal involving marijuana.
Jayce N. Cuff, 20, of Minneapolis, and an unidentified 17-year-old boy were arrested on May 2. Both have been charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder for the homicide of 27-year-old Davione Collins, who was gunned down outside the Peregrine Apartment building at 2035 West River Road around 10:18 p.m. on April 19.
