INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. — Commuters who take I-494, be ready for even more road construction than usual for the next few days.
I-494 in Inver Grove Heights at the Highway 52 interchange will be closed in both directions for four days so crews can begin redecking the bridges and paving ramps on Highway 52, which goes over the interstate.
The stretch that will be closed is between Blaine Avenue and Babcock Trail, including all of Highway 52 to I-494. Work starts at 9 p.m. on Thursday and the roadways should be open again by Monday at 5 a.m., weather permitting…
