The Brooklyn Park Police Department is currently investigating a case involving a body found in the 7400 block of West Broadway. The discovery was made at around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while officers were responding to a separate call in the area. According to a statement by the local authorities, the Hennepin County Crime Lab was immediately called to the scene, following standard protocol for unattended deaths.
The body has since been transferred to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy is to be performed to ascertain the cause of death. As of now, the identity of the deceased person remains unknown.
