White Beer Lake, MN (KROC-AM News) – A Minnesota law enforcement officer was the victim of a weekend drowning in the Twin Cities.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to White Bear Lake around 2:30 PM on Sunday after receiving reports that a woman had entered the water from a boat and failed to resurface. A rescue operation was launched, and the woman was found underwater approximately 40 minutes later.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that she was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. She has since been identified as Beverly Rodriguez, a sergeant with the Metro Transit Police Department.
