Annual cannabis festival unveils lineup and shockingly low ticket prices

The Legacy Cup has a solid argument for labeling itself “Minnesota’s premier cannabis festival.”

The celebration of cannabis culture and art has announced a return to Surly Brewing Festival Field on Sept. 27, bearing an impressive lineup of hip-hop stars, heaps of cannabis companies, and a surprisingly low ticket price.

For this year’s installment, the Legacy Cup is bringing in Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike & the Midnight Revival. The stage will also include sets from Warren G, Afroman, Maria Isa, and Desdamona, as well as co-hosts DJ D.Mil and Mr. Peter Parker.

While Warren G and Afroman are more nostalgia acts than contemporary headliners, Killer Mike doesn’t fit that description. The “Ready Set Go” rapper, who is half of Run the Jewels, most recently passed through a Minneapolis stage with a headlining night at First Avenue last summer, where tickets ran $36, plus fees…
