Adorable boutiques have been a popular shopping destination for women for decades. Shops that have shirts with the latest sayings, unique items, trendy jewelry, or fashionable shoes (that are still comfortable!) are some of the main reasons women keep going back to their favorite stores.
One store that I’ve loved shopping at for the past few years just announced the saddest news – it is closing.
Popular Boutique in Minnesota Just Announced It Is Closing For Good
It’s not a secret that women love to shop. According to essence.com, the average amount of time women spend shopping their entire life is just over 25,184 hours. Sometimes we have to get mundane items like groceries and toilet paper, but most of us will admit that at times we just need a day to walk around a store like Target or a cute boutique to fill us up with joy.
Sadly, I just saw one of my favorite boutiques announce some sad news. After 5 years, a popular boutique in Minnesota called MN Girl is closing.
This is the time of year I’m typically inviting you to our birthday party, but after the past years’ continued decline in both traffic & sales, we have decided it is time to close the shop. I have prayed and waited for the tides to turn, but retail is tricky even with a website. I’m so grateful for the support, friends & memories made over the past five years. I will miss hearing your funny stories, relationship drama, the antics your friends keep doing, hearing how your children’s recent sports season went, or even your struggle to conceive, so I can pray with you. I’m very excited about whatever is next for me, but those things I will miss. The people. That’s what Main Street is, please continue to show up for the businesses you want to stay around, small biz is sucking for air right now. Thank you so much to my MN Girl family for supporting our family! – MN Girl Facebook Page
