St. Paul Police have been called to the Rondo Library 262 times this year

After adjusting its schedule due to safety concerns, the St. Paul Police have shared how many times they’ve been called for service to the Rondo Community Library.

On Sunday, avid readers hoping to check out a book to start the week were instead met with closed doors at the Rondo Community Library in St. Paul.

It’s due to a growing concern for safety, expressed by the library, which said it would be reducing its hours due to what it called “ongoing challenges” and “resulting negative behavior.”…
