Minneapolis Police Recover Stolen Gun and Make Arrests in Drug Incident on Northwest Side

Minneapolis saw its police officers engage in a successful narcotics and gun retrieval operation, as detailed in a recent social media post by the Minneapolis Police Department. The incident took place in the city’s northwest side, where, according to their Facebook page, MPD’s 4th Precinct officers discovered two individuals unresponsive in a running car, exhibiting clear signs of drug use, including the presence of hypodermic needles.

Upon further investigation, the officers unearthed a stolen gun hidden beneath one of the slumping individuals in the car; in addition to this, the officers learned that both occupants had outstanding warrants against them; these findings ultimately led to their arrest. The police underscore the significance of the bust in their Facebook announcement, “Great work by our officers in keeping our community safe!” the message exclaimed, asserting their commitment to public safety and effective law enforcement.
