Charge: Motorcyclist keeps riding after his sister is thrown off, critically injured

A motorcyclist returning home from the bar Sunday kept riding after his sister was thrown off the back of the motorcycle, according to a new criminal charge.

Prosecutors in Washington County on Tuesday charged 70-year-old Lonnie W. Cory, of Inver Grove Heights, with one count of criminal vehicular operation tied to great bodily harm and leaving the scene of the crash, which allegedly happened just before 7 p.m. on Highway 61 in St. Paul Park.
