A man accused of killing his 82-year-old mother and then dismembering her body has been found guilty in Minnesota, court documents say.
Troy Michael Mitteness, 58, was found guilty by a jury in Dakota County Court on one count of premeditated first-degree murder and one count of intentional second-degree murder in the death of his mother, Sandra Viola Mitteness.
According to McClatchy News, Mitteness was accused of stealing and spending all of his mom’s money, then stabbing his mother while she was in bed in June 2022.
