Police in Minneapolis are investigating after a pedestrian and a bicyclist were struck by a driver in Minneapolis early Monday.
The collision was reported around 12:15 a.m. on East Lake Street between 4th and 5th avenues, and involved the driver of a blue SUV who was driving the wrong way, and who fled the scene after the collision.
The victims – both men – were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with “potentially life-threatening injuries.”
“Preliminary information indicates that a blue SUV was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Lake Street E between 4th Ave. S. and 5th Ave. S. when it struck a bicyclist traveling in the bicycle lane and then struck a pedestrian crossing Lake St E,” MPD said…
