ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. — A lot has changed since the deadly crash at the beloved St. Louis Park restaurant and bowling alley, Park Tavern.
On Sept. 1, 2024, Steven Bailey drove his vehicle into the crowded patio of Park Tavern with a blood alcohol content of .325 — more than four times the legal limit. On the patio were a group of Methodist Hospital employees that were holding a special event, along with employees of the bar and grill.
Two people were killed and several others were seriously hurt. Kristina Folkerts was a server at Park Tavern and the mother of three. Her mother had also been a server at the same restaurant, and other employees babysat her when she was a child…
