Student arrested after bringing gun to Johnson High School in St. Paul

St. Paul police say a student was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly brought a gun to Johnson High School on the first day of class.

St. Paul Police Department spokeswoman Alyssa Arcand said officers responded to a report of a gun at the school around 9:30 a.m. Staff had apprehended the juvenile student and secured the gun by the time police arrived.
