Coon Rapids, MN (KROC-AM News) – One of the three men charged with a triple homicide in the Twin Cities last year has been found guilty of first-degree murder.
Court documents state that 39-year-old Alonzo Pierre Mingo was arrested several hours after 39-year-old Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada, 42-year-old Shannon Patricia Jungworth, and 20-year-old Jorge Reyes-Jungworth were found shot to death in the family’s Coon Rapids home on the afternoon of January 26, 2024. Anoka County deputies and Coon Rapids police officers responded to the residence after receiving an open 911 call.
According to the criminal complaint, the victims all died from gunshot wounds to the head and were found in different areas of the home. Two young children, both under the age of 5, were also in the house but were not harmed.

The court documents say investigators reviewed surveillance video from multiple cameras inside the home and another camera across the street. The footage showed three suspects exiting a car and entering the house. Two of them were wearing clothing described as similar to UPS delivery driver uniforms, and one carried a cardboard box. Less than 10 minutes later, the three men were seen leaving the residence in a car registered to Mingo.
The surveillance video inside the house recorded Mingo fatally shooting the 42-year-old woman at point-blank range in a bedroom. Prior to that, the footage showed Mingo holding the woman and a man at gunpoint while demanding money.
According to the complaint, Mingo was apprehended after his car was spotted in Fridley and pulled over. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a backpack containing UPS delivery shirts and a UPS vest. Investigators later learned he had been employed as a temporary UPS worker until a few weeks before the murders…
