Man who posed as UPS driver during triple homicide sentenced to life without parole

A Fridley man who posed as a UPS driver and killed three people in front of two young children last year was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Thursday, court records state.

Last week, Alonzo Pierre Mingo, 39, was convicted on eight counts in connection with the January 2024 triple homicide in Coon Rapids: Two counts of first-degree murder (premeditated), three counts of aiding and abetting first-degree murder (while committing or attempting to commit aggravated robbery) and three counts of aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
