A man has entered a guilty plea to his role in straw purchasing firearms that were later used in at least two murders.
William Burton pleaded guilty on Thursday to one count of conspiracy to make false statements while purchasing a firearm. One count of making a false statement while purchasing a firearm and one count of destruction/alteration/falsification of records in a federal investigation are expected to be dismissed at sentencing, according to the plea agreement.
