East Ridge High School in Woodbury was placed on lockdown after a student brought a knife to school.
In a notice to families, South Washington County Schools says the high school was placed on a lockdown after a report that a student had brought a weapon to the campus Wednesday morning.
Shortly after, staff and the school’s resource officer confiscated a 7-inch, fixed blade knife from a student.
The Woodbury Police Department was then called in to conduct a canine search while the school was on lockdown…
