A new neighborhood cafe is preparing to open its doors in the Kingfield neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Easy Day Cafe occupies the space formerly held by Royal Grounds at 4161 Grand Ave. S. in Minneapolis. It will open to customers the weekend of Sept. 27-28 with a community celebration.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the opening day event will feature live music, local food vendors like North Star Deli, and a curated vintage pop-up shop by 316 Vintage.
