Super Neon Lights Up Mall of America

The Mall of America got a little bit brighter with the arrival of Super Neon, an interactive wonderland of neon lights designed to spark joy and encourage imagination. The ticketed experience, which made its global debut at the Bloomington mall on September 12, is situated on the third floor in an 11,000-square-foot space, and has become a fixture among the mall’s growing list of entertainment attractions.

With visits typically lasting between 45 and 60 minutes, guests are invited to explore eight different rooms of glowing neon light displays, including a “colorful rainstorm” complete with hanging underwater umbrellas and a “magical forest” whose trees come to life by touching them. The immersive experience also includes opportunities to “paint” with beams of color, as well as illuminated tunnels and a cloud-like dreamscape.

Conceived by Merlin Entertainments and presented by Fever, Super Neon was born out of a widespread love of fantastical Instagram-ready lights, and in the end, it’s a playful, uplifting space sure to leave people of all ages with a full heart and smile…
