CDC pulling COVID vaccine recommendation causes confusion

MINNEAPOLIS – Infectious disease experts say the CDC is no longer recommending the COVID-19 vaccine for anyone is causing some confusion.

The University of Minnesota’s Dr. Michael Osterholm says this change could make the vaccine harder to get. He says this is not a recommendation that we would like to see in terms of encouraging people to get their COVID, flu, and R-S-V vaccines. In the past, the CDC would have had an active fall campaign reminding citizens of their need to get vaccinated. Osterhom says that it no longer exists…
