When Chris Kolstand, owner of Pizza Man in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, saw people eating from his restaurant’s trash, he knew he had to do something. He didn’t want people who couldn’t afford food to survive on other people’s scraps, so he made a plan. Chris posted a handwritten note on the restaurant’s door telling people not to eat the garbage, but to come inside for a fresh slice of pizza and a glass of water. His note made its way to Instagram, where it touched many hearts.
