Woodbury police are at the scene of a standoff on Monday night after responding to a welfare check earlier in the evening.
Police were called to the 6800 block of Macbeth Circle around 5:20 p.m. for a welfare check. After law enforcement arrived, a man took out a large cooking knife and threatened his family and responders, police said.
The occupants of the home were safely evacuated, and people in the neighboring homes were asked to do the same, Woodbury police said, adding that the suspect then barricaded himself in the home…
